He will need to set up his account. Here's what he'll see: 

  1. The invitation email

  3. The account activation email (Only required when signing up with a different email than the one the invitation was sent to)

  4. Done, the subcontractor is redirected to your project's files.

If the subcontractor already has an account for his company:

  1. He will be taken directly to your project files if he's already logged in on his current computer. This is the most frequent scenario by far.

  2. If not, he will be asked to login to ConstructBuy, which he can do if he has access to his company's account.

  3. If not, he will have to request a user account to his administrator using the following process:
    (This happens when an invitation is sent to a different employee than the one who first signed-up for that company)
    1. Click on "No, I am a new user" and the "Request user accountLogin" link  button in the login form

    2. Answer "Yes" to the "Are you an employee of Joe Construction?" question

    3. Send the user account request form

    4. Administrator receives user account request by email and creates the user account.

    5. The new user receives a welcome email and can then access your project from his portal, or by clicking the link in your original invitation again.
