There are two ways to define the scale of a page : manual and automatic. The automatic scaling is faster, but for more precise results, we recommend using the manual scale.

Manual Scale

...

  1. Find the longest known dimension on your plan

  2. Click on the scale button on the top left corner of your toolbar

  3. Click on the “Manual” button in the new window

  4. Choose the type of measure between “Imperial” and “Metric” to use for your scale

  5. Choose if you want to set the scale with one measure “Same scale for horizontal and vertical axes” or with a vertical and an horizontal measure “Different scale for horizontal and vertical axes”, the second choice offers results with better precision

  6. Enter the measures in the appropriate boxes

  7. Click on “Save”

  8. Click on the first end point of your measure (start with the horizontal measure first if you chose the “Different scale for horizontal and vertival axes” option)

  9. Click on the 2e point of the measure (if you chose “Different scale for horizontal and vertical axes”, at this point you will have to repeat steps 8 and 9 to enter the second measure)

  10. Click on “Stop” or press the “Escape” button on your keyboard to stop the setting of the scale
