How to use the rectangle and ortho function

Rectangle function

  1. Choose the takeoff type you want to use on your plan between “Area” and “Linear”

  2. Select the “Rectangle” tool in the toolbar

  3. Click on the first corner of your rectangle

  4. Click on the opposite corner of your rectangle to complete the rectangle takeoff

  5. Click on “Stop” or press Escape on your keyboard

 

Ortho function

  1. Click on the area or the linear tool in the toolbar at the top of the screen

  2. Click on the first corner of the form or the line you want to takeoff on the plan

  3. Click on the “Ortho” tool in the toolbar at the top of the screen

  4. Click on the second corner of the shape you want to takeoff

  5. Click on the third corner of the shape you want to takeoff

  6. Click on every other corner of the shape until the takeoff of the shape is completed

If all corners of the shape are not at right angle, you can activate and deactivate the Ortho tool by clicking on the icon in the toolbar or by using Shift, the keyboard shortcut.
